On May 15th, 2008, at the Hyatt Hotel, in Irvine, California, super flyweight Carly Batey,3-3-2 (0 KO),fighting out of San Diego, California, will be fighting Sharon Gaines, 11-9-0 (3KO), of Las Vegas. Be on the lookout for Batey—-her record is deceptive, and she is indeed very talented, and is definitely an up and comer! Her 3 losses have been by split decision to Monica Lovato, Kaliesha West and Ana Julaton. She is now being trained by Terry Washington. I look for great things from Carly! Sharon Gaines has taken on some very difficult opposition thus far as a pro, that has included the likes of traveling to Denmark to fight Frida Wallberg; Germany to fight Alesia Graf; and other top boxers, Hollie Dunaway, Monica Lovato, and more.
